Phillip Martin Johnson has lived in Houston, Texas for most of his life.  After a rewarding career in design, he is happily retired and pursuing a new passion.  He brings a new and compassionate view to the discussion about personal dignity and human rights with this, his first novel.

For my mother.  Though you left me seventeen years ago, you continue to be my guiding light and my inspiration.

This book is dedicated to all the innocent young lives who became unwitting victims of the monsters in the Nazi concentration camps in the name of “medicine.”

This book is further dedicated to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transexual, intersex, and queer people in Nazi Europe whose lives were destroyed by the Holocaust.  I sincerely hope that this fictional account raises awareness of these underreported souls so their deaths might not be in vain.
